Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Please join VOICE as we recognize national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) this April. The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. There are two campus wide events scheduled throughout the month of April we invite the entire Georgia Tech community to participate in!

Take Back the Night Submission

If you are a survivor of sexual violence, we are asking for YOU to help break the silence and consider submitting your story here for the 25th annual Take Back the Night. Your submissions will be anonymous and remain anonymous unless you decide to read your own story at the event. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY SUNDAY, MARCH 24TH.

Sometimes the process of writing your story can bring up emotions, questions or experiences that you'd like to seek support for. If you are considering sharing your story, but would like to talk with an advocate before doing so, please do not hesitate to call a confidential VOICE Advocate in Health Initiatives. You can reach Amanda Planchard at (404) 385-4451 or Jennifer Gagen at (404) 385-4464. If you would like to contact the student organizers of Take Back the Night, please contact Aiman Shahab or Meghan Dietrich.
