  • Physical Well-Being encompasses a variety of healthy behaviors including being physically active, eating well, getting sufficient sleep. Physical well-being also incorporates practicing healthy decision-making around alcohol consumption and abstaining from drug and tobacco use.

  • Spiritual Well-Being involves possessing a set of guiding beliefs, values, or principles that help give direction and purpose to one's life. Spiritual well-being helps one establish peace and harmony in their life through dialogue, service and self-reflection. 

  • Emotional Well-Being is demonstrated in the ability to be self-aware and cope with life’s challenges while developing overall resiliency. 

  • Social Well-Being is the capacity to establish and maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and co-workers that foster belonging and community.
