Mental Health & Well-Being

As college students, it can be hard to prioritize your health, especially when you are pushed to prioritize academics, work, and extracurricular activities. Family members, professors and others often expect great things from you, and sometimes you expect even more of yourself. Be patient with yourself and the process of growing, changing and learning to live independently.

How you take care of yourself now determines your health in the future, which is why developing good self-care habits now is essential for your future self.

Jackets Journal Journey

Journaling promotes self-care, enhances our immune system functioning and has been proven to reduce stress. Join Health Initiatives’ Jacket Journal Journey for a weekly journal prompt every Monday to help you get started.
